What can we expect for meals?
Breakfast is typically served between 730 and 800am.  There is always a hot option served as well as many lighter fare items (cereal, fruit, yogurt).
Dinner we try to serve within one hour of your return.  This may vary depending if you are part of a group, if it is your arrival day or if the weather plays havoc with your fishing plans and brings you home early.
Meals are typically served either buffet or family style.  This allows you to choose your own portions.

What if we go out early or come back late, will we be able to get something to eat?
During early morning stone fly hatches if you and your guide opt to get up and go before first light, we'll make sure to have a selection of cereal, yogurt, toast, muffins and fruit available for you to grab and go.  We'll also make sure to set the coffee pot so you don't miss your morning java.
Rarely, if ever, will you come back to the Lodge and find your dinner in the fridge with instructions on how to warm it up.  We enjoy hearing about your day and understand the importance of coming in from a great day on the Bow  to a hot meal.

Alcohol isn't included in the package price, may I bring my own?
We do carry a limited selection of local beers, some wines, and spirits that we will sell to you.  If we are picking you up at the airport we will stop at a local liquor store so you are able to purchase your own if you like.  Warning: you may find the prices on alcohol and tobacco products priced considerably higher here than at your home as they are "sin" taxed.    Alcohol consumption is not permitted either in vehicles or on the river in the province of Alberta.

Can we smoke at North Bow Lodge?
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside North Bow Lodge.  With the consideration of other guests smoking is permitted outside on the deck or in the parking area (graveled areas).  If you are interested in purchasing Cuban cigars a stop at a cigar shop can be arranged.

What amenities are in the rooms?
Each room has a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and soap, cotton balls and q-tips. Extra blankets are found under each bed, and extra pillows are in the wardrobes, as well  there are AM/FM alarm clock radios.

What communication tools do you have at North Bow Lodge?
WI-FI internet access is available free of charge throughout the whole building.   A laptop computer is available for use by guests.   Cell phone reception is sketchy in the valley.  Guests are welcome to make free unlimited long distance calls to all of Canada and the lower 48 states with the Lodge phone.

Do you have a hot tub?
Due to the maintenance and upkeep that a hot tub located so close to the river would require (the chemical water would have to be trucked out) we do not have one.   We do have an indoor infrared sauna available to guests.  For the health benefits of an infrared sauna check out:  www.farnorthsaunas.com
